The Akai SynthStation49 is the world’s first keyboard controller allowing direct MIDI performance recording onto an iPad. Built on the popular success of the previously released SynthStation25, SynthStation49 has forty-nine velocity-sensitive keys, pitch/modulation wheel, transport controls and nine MPC style drum pads. SynthStation49 provides essential control for musicians, producers and DJ’s to compose, record and perform.
The built-in, adjustable dock supplies power and charges your iPad while positioning the screen at the perfect angle according to the user’s preference.
Inputs and outputs include a headphone output, sustain pedal input and stereo pair of professional ¼” TRS outputs with volume control. Perfect for connecting to other audio equipment in your studio or while on stage.
Nine backlit MPC style drum pads provide great feel with instant beat-making capabilities. The SynthStation software includes 50 classic and modern kits. Program, Sequence, Song select and Transport buttons provide quick navigation to the SynthStation App’s most used components for a seamless, efficient workflow. The SynthStation49 can be connected to a Mac or PC via USB for receiving power and for controlling MIDI music software. It can also be used as a traditional USB MIDI controller with your computer without an iPad.
